2010年10月，中国加入世界技能组织，成为该组织的第53个成员。

  2011年10月，中国首次组团参加在英国伦敦举行的第41届世界技能大赛，参加6个项目获得1枚银牌和5个优胜奖。

  2016年10月，中国宣布申办世界技能大赛意向，并提出上海作为举办城市。

China and WorldSkills Competitions

  In October 2010, China became the 53rd member of WorldSkills International.

  In October 2011, China made its debut at the 41st WorldSkills Competition held in London, competing in 6 skills and winning 1 silver medal and 5 Medallions for Excellence.

  In October 2016, China announced its intention to host a WorldSkills Competition and proposed Shanghai as the host city.
